New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024:

Sept. 26, 4:13 p.m., Katrina Marie Butler, 30, Lyons, was arrested on a warrant for assisting a criminal. No bond was allowed. Jasonville Police Department Officer Doug Correll was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
