New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025:

Feb. 4, 3:23 p.m., William David Hunter Barnes, 22, Linton, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old. No bond was allowed. Linton Police Department Officer JR Blazier was the arresting officer. 

Feb. 4, 6:38 p.m., Isaiah John Fannin, 41, Solsberry, was arrested on a warrant for theft when the value of the property is at least $750 and less than $50,000. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He was released after posting $400. Indiana Conservation Officer Cole Hollingsworth was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
