New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, May 13, 2021:

May 12, 11:12 p.m. – Ryan Jay Gilbert, 30, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $1,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $150 and was released on May 13. Indiana State Police Trooper Richard Klun was the arresting officer.

May 13, 12:24 a.m. – Michael Wade Myers, 54, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in body, and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Indiana State Police Trooper Richard Klun was the arresting officer.

May 13, 12:35 a.m. – Darreus James Rainwater, 25, Linton, Ind, was arrested on two warrants, one issued for failure to appear at an initial hearing on charges of felony resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, possession of a handgun without a license, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, and another one issued on a petition to revoke bond in a case involving felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. His bond on the first warrant was set at $10,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He was being held without bond on the second warrant. Linton Police Officer Adam King was the arresting officer.

May 13, 4:20 a.m. – Tyler Ernest Lee Eads, 24, Lyons, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony strangulation and misdemeanor domestic battery. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Zachary Goad was the arresting officer.
