A 27-year-old Maine man appeared in Greene Circuit Court Jan. 24 following an incident in which he allegedly broke into a Worthington home, stealing more than $1,300 in coins.

Teen has been locaed. The Linton Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a 15-year-old missing juvenile who has run away.  Lorna Wall-Wilson was last seen wearing a black hoodie or white t-shirt with jeans. Filings for the May Primary Election are rolling in at the Greene County Voter Registration Office with a deadline to file of Feb. 9

A 37-year-old Terre Haute man was arrested on Jan. 25 on a warrant for two counts of neglect of a dependent after allegedly owing more than $31,000 in back child support payments. 

A 38-year-old Jasonville man found himself behind bars after a baggie of a white crystal-like substance was found in the front passenger seat of a vehicle in which he was riding.

A 54-year-old Linton man was arrested Jan. 23 on a warrant for possession of a narcotic drug and operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license following a Jan. 19 incident.

While conducting a probation search at a Jasonville residence on Jan. 10, a 43-year-old Jasonville man at the residence was arrested on drug charges. 

The window to file for seats in the upcoming May Primary Election is now open but will close on Feb. 9. 

A 24-year-old Jasonville woman is being held in Greene County Jail on a $25,000 bond following a Jan. 10 drug-related arrest after a probation search. 

While the May Primary Election might seem to be a while away, the window to file a declaration of candidacy is now open. 

When officers conducted a house search as a condition of probation on a 23-year-old Linton man on Jan. 10, he was arrested after drugs, paraphernalia, and syringes were located inside the residence. 

Greene County Emergency Management Director Roger Axe is advising residents to prepare now for subzero temperatures expected next week. 

The Linton Police Department, Indiana State Police, and Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded Jan. 9 to a report of an individual, allegedly armed with a gun, causing damage to a D Street Northwest residence in Linton. 

A 59-year-old Springville woman is scheduled to appear in Greene Superior Court Jan. 11 following a Dec. 27 arrest on a handful of charges after allegedly battering a public safety official, resisting law enforcement, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
