Charles D. ‘Chuck’ Moss II, of Linton, Indiana, passed from this life with his family by his side, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on February 27, 1955, in Sullivan, Indiana to Charles D. ‘Dow’ and Marcelene L. (Debaun) Moss. Chuck married his loving wife, Debbie Jo (Wilkerson) Moss on November 3, 1978.

Chuck was a carpenter. He worked for Ivan Ferree, Kluesner Construction, Morrison Brothers and then owned his own business. Chuck retired in 2018. He was a loving husband, dad and grandpa who will be greatly missed.

Family left to cherish the memories of Chuck include his wife, Debbie Moss; two sons, CJ (Ashley) Moss of Owensville and Adam (Taylar) Moss of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Addyson, Makenah, Evan, Eli, Emma, Grady and Skylar; one sister, Shelley Sweeney of Sullivan.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Stephanie and sister, Karen Summers.

Honoring Chuck’s wishes, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest in Marco Cemetery at a later date.
