Robert Bradley Ellis

Robert Bradley Ellis, 81, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice in Terre Haute. Born November 16, 1944 in Sullivan, Indiana, he was the son of Robert and Cora (Ransford) Ellis.

Brad was a school teacher for Bloomfield Schools for 42 years. He was a member of the Bloomfield First Baptist Church.

Surviving relatives include: His children, Ron Ellis (Cheryl), Rob Ellis (Michele) and Melinda Ellis; Grandchildren, Justin Ellis (Jenna), Mason Ellis, Brianna Honeycut (Joe), Marc Ellis and Pyper Ellis; his great grandchildren, Kasen and Hank Ellis; and siblings, Bruce Ellis (Debbie) and Reva Gamble (Scott).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne (Hunley) Ellis on July 2, 2020, siblings, Kay Cox, Bill Ellis and Alice Hardesty and his parents.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at the Bloomfield First Baptist Church, with Rev. Nathan Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Bloomfield First Baptist Church.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Food Pantry.
