One man’s 4th of July started with too much pickle moonshine. Then he got hold of a handgun, an AR-15 and a large amount of ammunition and took off on an ORV which he crashed twice, in one case leaving the AR-15 and the ammunition scattered on a roadway in eastern Greene County. That's just part of the story which ended with a trip to the Greene County Jail.

UPDATE: JUVENILE HAS BEEN LOCATED........  GCSD looking for juvenile missing from Lyons

The Greene County Sheriff's Department is asking for help from the public to locate a missing juvenile. Deputy Sergeant Jordan Allor reported that Jenny Chaney is 12 years old and is reported to be missing from the town of Lyons. She left her home around 4:30 PM today, Thursday, July 7. She may be attempting to walk to Clay County. Jenny has light brown, medium length, straight hair and was last seen wearing a black tie dye tank top and black and orange leggings. Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Jenny Chaney is asked to contact the Greene County Sheriff's Department.
