Statewide case counts announced, as of Saturday, April 11 at 10 am; Greene County steady with 14 cases, one death but up to 125 tested
/As of 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11, when the Indiana Department of Health announced the statewide COVID-19 stats, the data shows Greene County still with 14 confirmed cases and one death, but with ten more tested for a total of 125 tested. Of those tested, some results may not yet be received or reported and included in the data. The new statewide counts are released once a day, at 10 a.m. and GreeneStreets has been posting this update every day between 10-11 a.m. As of Monday, the dashboard will be updated once a day at 12 noon, so GreeneStreets will be posting between 12-1 p.m.
HEALTH DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES DRIVE-THRU COVID-19 TESTING
AS CASES INCREASE, 30 NEW DEATHS ARE REPORTED
INDIANAPOLIS —As the number of novel coronavirus cases continues to rise, the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) is partnering with local health officials in four communities to hold free drive-thru testing clinics for healthcare workers, first responders and essential workers who have symptoms of COVID-19.
To date, 7,435 Indiana residents are known to have contracted the novel coronavirus, including 537 additional cases reported Saturday. More than 39,000 test results have been reported to ISDH. A total of 330 Hoosiers have died.
Cases are listed by county of residence. Private lab reporting may be delayed and will be reflected in the map and count when results are received at ISDH. Beginning Monday, April 13, the dashboard will be updated at noon each day.
The dashboard also has been updated to make corrections based on updated information provided to ISDH.
