Travis Cliver
/Travis Cliver, 50, of Linton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Born June 11, 1975, in Sullivan, Indiana, Travis filled his life with family, friendship, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
A talented carpenter by trade, Travis took pride in shaping wood into something lasting and beautiful - much like the way he shaped the lives of those around him. Whether he was building something with his hands or lending them to help a friend, his craftsmanship and generous heart left an impression that will not fade.
Travis was happiest outdoors, whether sitting quietly in a duck blind before sunrise or casting a line into still waters. Hunting and fishing were more than hobbies for him - they were ways to find peace, share laughter, and connect with those he loved most.
He will be deeply missed by his mother, Rita (Tim) Dunigan; father, Chuck (Angie) Cliver; sister, Jody Campbell; brother, Jason Jerrell; and his many nieces and nephews. He is also remembered with love by his extended family - his uncle, cousins, and close friend, Doug Powell - who will carry his memory forward in their stories and hearts.
Travis was preceded in death by his sister, Crystal (Cliver) Dudley, whose memory he cherished dearly.
A graveside service and sharing of memories will be held at Bohley Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2026. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are in care of Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, of Walton Funeral Service, in Linton.
