Marley Thompson, age 90, of Springville, passed away peacefully at 5:40 am on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born in Durango, CO on June 23, 1935, the daughter of Claude Brooks & Mary Ellen (Curry) Brooks.

Marley is survived by her loving sons, Russell Thompson, John (Selena) Thompson and Clyde Thompson; grandchildren, Angel Ahart, Thomas Thompson, Natasha Anderson, John P. Thompson, Jr, Troy Thompson, Aaron Thompson and Arlene Fox; ten great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde A. Thompson; daughters, Terry Edelman, Debra Faye Thompson, siblings, Dorothy Kidney, Arthur Brooks, Sr., Orville Brooks, Raymond Brooks, Thomas Brooks, Marvin Brooks, Kay , Jo Newman, Viola Robbins, Buck Brooks, .

Private services will be observed by the family on June 22, 2026
