Doris Lucille Hamm

Doris Lucille Hamm 90, of Solsberry, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018. Born July 27, 1928 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Everett and Cloffa (Branham) Hays.

She retired as a cook for Indiana University.

Surviving relatives include: her children, Jeff Hamm of Solsberry, Fred Hamm of Solsberry, Darlene Wells of Bloomington and Mary Drake of Bloomington; her brother, Kenny Hays of Bedford; one sister, Juanita Deckard of Bloomington; fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great, grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred James Hamm in 1983, three sons, Frank, James and Jody Hamm, one daughter, Martha Hall, one sister, Loretta Sisson, two brothers, Donald Edward Hays and Gene Hays and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Garrison Chapel Cemetery in rural Bloomington.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Jenkins Funeral Home to help defray the cost of final expenses.
