Dianna Kay Brookshire

Dianna Kay Brookshire, 71, of Newberry passed away Saturday September 21, 2019 at Ketchem Memorial in Odon. Born July 28, 1948 in Linton, Indiana the daughter of Max D. and Martha Ann (Sappenfield) Wesner.

Dianna worked at Crane, REMC and for Ed Guthrie, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Dianna loved having tea parties with her granddaughters, gardening, especially her rose’s, she was a great seamstress and cook, she was a member of the Newberry United Methodist Church, Newberry Order of Eastern Star and the Newberry Progressive Club.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Donald Brookshire, two children Dustin (Talia) Brookshire, Julie (Rick) Baker, her grandchildren, Casey Baker, Oliva Brookshire, Jenna Brookshire, Skylar Brookshire and baby Brookshire on the way, she has one brother, Bob (Jeanie) Wesner and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dianna was preceded in death by her parents and first husband Eddy Don Martindale.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday at the Newberry United Methodist Church and 10 A.M. Thursday until the hour of service at the Church.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday at the Newberry United Methodist Church with Rev. Peggy Haywood officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.

The family wishes any memorial donations be made to the Newberry United Methodist Church.
