New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023:

Aug. 23, 12:25 PM, Frances Charlotte Ricklefs, 78, Jasonville, was arrested on preliminary charges of confinement and intimidation with a deadly weapon. Her bond was set at $19,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Jasonville Police Department Chief Ryan Van Horn was the arresting officer. 

Aug. 23, 11:39 PM, Thomas Carl Jarosack, 46, Jasonville, was arrested on a warrant for driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Indiana Conservation Officer Cole Hollingsworth was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
