December 7, 2022, 11:34 AM, Steven Earl Love, 63, Lyons, Indiana, was arrested on a warrant issued on new charges of felony theft with a previous conviction and misdemeanor trespassing on land without the owner’s consent. His bond was set at $4500 surety with 10% cash allowed.

December 8, 2022, Brandon Lee Lash, 41, Linton, Indiana, was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended with a prior suspension within 10 years. His bond was set at $1000 surety with 10% cash allowed. He posted $100 and was released later the same day.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
