New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • April 26 – John Kenneth Wheeler, 64, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of felony resisting law enforcement, misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated involving endangerment, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated equal to or over .15 BAC. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent allowed. He was released later the same day after posting bond. Greene County Jail Commander Ken Conolty was the arresting officer.

Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers.
