Season Dawn Weddle, 44, Bloomfield, was arrested by Deputy Marshal Brittany Ingram of the Bloomfield Police Department on Saturday, October 24. Around 6:44 a.m., Weddle was booked into the Greene County Jail where her bond was set at $16,500 surety with ten percent cash allowed. The next day, she posted $1,650, was released and scheduled to be in court on November 12.

Around 3 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, Officer Ingram, the investigating officer, responded to a crash on South Seminary Street in Bloomfield where a vehicle had left the scene. GCSD Deputy Goad also responded and got there first.

When they arrived, they found a gold Ford Taurus had been struck and damaged. A fence and a utility pole were also hit and the Taurus had been pushed into the utility pole.

A neighbor said he heard the crash and when he went outside, saw a car with the dome light on and a female driver. He provided a description of the vehicle that left the scene.

The owner of the gold Ford Taurus said she heard two loud crashes and went outside. Her vehicle had been hit twice and her house lost power when the crash occurred.

The vehicle that allegedly drove away was located at a residence on South Seminary Street. It was a maroon 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix with heavy front-end damage. When the officers got up to the house, the door was open and Season Weddle was standing inside with face and clothing covered in blood.

Weddle told the officers to come inside and she called a family member. When she got off the phone, she allegedly explained she had gone to Aggies then to the Legion then back to Aggies, then drove home after drinking beer and liquor. When asked how much she had to drink, she allegedly said she didn’t know but it was a lot.

A Greene County Ambulance responded to treat Weddle for injuries then she was transported to Greene County General Hospital where a blood draw was taken – results pending. She was then transported to jail.

Weddle is facing preliminary charges of:

  • Operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, a Class A misdemeanor,

  • Operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person with a prior conviction within seven years, a Level 6 felony, and

  • Leaving the scene of an accident, a Class B misdemeanor.
