Two Miner Broadcasting Club students selected for Indiana University Journalism Institute

Rader Media Sports wishes to share some incredible news. Kevin and Heather Rader were invited to be the guest speakers at last year’s 2025 High School Journalism Institute at Indiana University. Last July, they spoke to over 150 students from across the US about the creation of Rader Media Sports.

In trade for their guest speaking appearance, Indiana University has traded them the opportunity to send two Miner Broadcasting Club Students to attend the 2026 Institute.

Each grant is valued at $600 for a week in July and includes:

  • Tuition for the four day institute

  • Room and Board at Indiana University

  • One meal provided each day

Rader Media is pleased to announce the recipients:

  • Adalyn Walton (Sophomore)

  • Leah McKee (Freshman)
