LPD Chief clarifies guidelines on fireworks in Linton and Greene County

With the Fourth of July around the corner, the sky will soon be lit up with fireworks as many communities and individuals will gather for fireworks displays. It’s important to follow firework guidelines while celebrating.

Greene County follows the State of Indiana statute which allows fireworks to be set off on July 4 between the hours of 9 a.m. and midnight. On all other days, fireworks are permitted to be set off between 9 a.m. and 11 p.m.
