Greene County Clerk accepting applications for Chief Deputy Circuit Court Clerk

Greene County Clerk Stuart Dowden has announced that the Greene County Clerk is accepting applications/resumes for the full-time position of Chief Deputy Circuit Court Clerk, located in the Greene County courthouse.  The duties include, but are not limited to, processing court cases, entering judgments, sending notices, and filing court documents.  They also assist phone and counter customers as needed.  In addition, they are responsible for all financial bookkeeping, which are reviewed by State Board of Accounts, as well as the State Auditor.  When the Clerk is out of the office, they assume the duties of the Clerk.  The position pays at the annual rate of $36,818.00.  For more information, you may contact the Greene County Clerk at 812-384-8532.  To be considered for employment, applications/resumes must be turned into the Clerk’s office no later than 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021.  Greene County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
