Bloomfield man in jail without bond
/A Bloomfield man, who bonded out of jail after his arrest earlier this month following a domestic incident, is back in jail, this time without bond.
Tyler Ray Gadberry, 34, Bloomfield, was taken into custody by Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Davis Aerne on Sunday, March 21, on a warrant that was issued for Gadberry’s arrest. The warrant was connected to Gadberry’s prior conviction for felony possession of methamphetamine.
Gadberry was also arrested on Sunday, March 7, on another warrant that was issued following an investigation by Deputy Marshal Wayman JR Blazier of the Bloomfield Police Department. In that incident on February 22, the door was locked when Officer Blazier arrived on the scene of domestic violence and saw Gadberry behaving aggressively and heard a woman crying for help. Gadberry ran when he saw the officer and the officer broke through the door. The suspect took off out the back door but a warrant was issued and Gadberry was taken into custody on March 7. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $400 and was released from jail. Following that incident, another warrant was issued. Gadberry was convicted of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, in 2017. He was sentenced to two years and 180 days. One year and 305 days were suspended and he was given credit for 95 days already served when he was sentenced in September of 2017. After the latest domestic arrest, the Greene County Probation Department filed a petition to revoke Gadberry’s suspended sentence and the court found there was reason to believe Gadberry had violated the terms of his probation. He is now being held without bond.
