Steven Long

Steven Michael Long, 62, of Springville passed away Monday October 28, 2019 at his residence. Born April 15, 1957 in Bloomfield the son of Elmer M. and Cora Sue (Anderson) Long.

Steven had worked at Otis Elevator for 26 years, he was a member of the Bethel Christian Church and loved fishing, camping and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include his wife Margaret Long of Springville, four sisters, Connie (Theo Brown) Padgett of Springville, Debbie (Keith May) Drake of Owensburg, Carla Sarris of Linton, Valerie (Danny) Mobley of Ellettsville, he has three step-children, Ashley (Greg) DeHart of Columbus, Brandon (Kristen) Hamilton of West Lafayette, Jared Hamilton of Oolitic, five grandchildren, Kalli, Addison, Nolan, Jackson, Ellie June, one Aunt, Sharron (John) Allen of Bedford and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, infant brother and several aunts and uncles.

Friends may call from 11 A.M. Friday until the hour of service at the Bethel Christian Church in Springville.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday at the Bethel Christian Church in Springville with Pastor Curtis Pruett and Dave Self officiating. Burial will follow at Dishman Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to the family to help with expenses.
