Robert Revel “Bob” Burger, 75, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 9:45 P.M. Monday, March 29, 2021 in Shakamak Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Jasonville, IN. He was born July 15, 1945 in Linton, IN to Glen Revel Burger and Helen (Perry) Burger.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Stark) Burger; Life Partner, Treva “Red” Embry of Jasonville, IN; children, Robert Burger (Stacia) of Noblesville, IN, Chris Burger (Jenny) of Westfield, IN, Katy Kester of Jasonville, IN, Scottie Turner of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Brittany Burger (James Shen), Bruce Burger, Chase Burger, Charlie Burger, Maci Burger; siblings, Donald Burger of Abilene, TX, Delinda Woods of Jasonville, IN, Darrell Burger (Sally) of Jasonville, IN, Mike Burger (Laurie) of Jasonville, IN; sister in-laws, Sheryle Burger of Shelburn, IN, Janice Burger of Jasonville, IN, Shirley Burger of Jasonville, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Glen and Helen Burger and siblings, Clarence Burger, Freddie Burger, Kenny Burger, Shelvy Goble, Joan Strahle, Janett Eberwine, Carolyn Anderson, Billie Crowder.

Bob graduated from Shakamak High School Class of 1964. He worked for many years as a Pressroom Manager. Bob was a collector of things of personal interest. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, playing cards and eating ice cream. Bob was a #1 IU Fan and Bobby Knight Fan.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Friday at Friendly Grove Baptist Church, 10520 S. County Road 550 W., Lewis, IN 47858. Funeral Services are 1 P.M. Friday, April 2, 2021 at the church with Pastor David Smith officiating.

Interment will be at Sanders Cemetery near Lewis, IN.
