Pamela "Pam" J. McKee, age 70, of Switz City, passed away peacefully at 1:43 AM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. She was born in Linton on June 10, 1953, the daughter of Rex and Patricia (Beck) Johnson.

Pam was a 1971 graduate of Switz City Central High School and attended Indiana State University. She retired from NSWC Crane after 32 years of service in Human Resources and Public Affairs.

Pam enjoyed walking in the woods and mushroom hunting, making dresses, reading, especially the Bible, going out to dinner with her friends, bowling, and loved attending her grandchildren's events.

She was a member of Saron United Church of Christ where she sang in the choir, attended Bible Study, and worked in the church. She was a former member of Tri Kappa and the Federal Employees Women.

Pam is survived by her husband whom she married on March 26, 1978, Michael J. McKee; a son, Kris (Brandee) McKee; daughter-in-law, Lora McKee; father, Francis "Dale" Davis; brothers, Dennis Davis and Brad Davis; seven grandchildren, Kristen (Eric) Morro, Kennideigh McKee, Ben McKee, Abby McKee, Addisyn McKee, Alyvia McKee, and Ivan McKee; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex Johnson and Patricia Johnson-Davis; a son, Kevin McKee; sister, Kimberly Chute; and father and mother-in-law, Wilfred and Mildred McKee.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Ron Haynes officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saron Church, through the funeral home.
