Marvena Davis, age 77, of Worthington, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021, at Greene County General Hospital. She was born in Linton on January 17, 1944, the daughter of James Franklin & Betty Jean (Kirkpatrick) Sparks.

She served as a waitress for several years and became an assistant in the recreation department at Glenburn Home in Linton. She loved horseback riding and dancing but she especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church in Worthington.

She is survived by her loving children, James Hubbard of Greenwood, Betty Pratt of Fairfield, CA, and Marian (Pedro) Rodriguez of Spencer; son-in-law, William Pipkins; grandchildren, PJ Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Gregori Merriweather, Kayti (Jeremy) Trowbridge and Cassie (Micah) Ryan; great grandchildren, Gregory, Bailey, Lilly, Nico, Atreus, Karson, Jayden and Korbin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Belinda Pipkins; grandson, Leon Marcel Nelson and sister, Clara Bosell.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 pm at Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
