Jannie Mae “Pat” Gabbard, age 83, of Benton, LA, formerly of Greene County, IN, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Linton, IN on March 10, 1938, the daughter of Clyde Burch and Laverne (Good) Burch Trinkle.

Pat along with her husband, Ronald, owned and operated Friendship Farm Camp and The Farm Restaurant in Bloomfield, IN and The Willows Restaurant in Linton, IN. Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shreveport, LA. Pat enjoyed taking care of her flower gardens, fishing with her husband, and was an avid IU Hoosier basketball fan.

She is survived by her children, Joe Craig Gabbard and his wife Lynn of Benton, LA; David Gabbard and his wife Chris of Cosby, TN; James Gabbard and his wife Rhonda of Bloomfield, IN; Debbie Gilreath and her husband Jerry of Bloomfield, IN; Mike Gabbard and his wife Mandy of Boise, ID; Sister In-law Joy Johnston and husband Jack of Rosedale, IN; Sister In-law Charlotte Watkins of Brownsburg, IN; 18 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ronald Gabbard.

Memorial service will be held at Walker Cemetery, Switz City, IN at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 8, 2022. There will be a Celebration of Life fellowship immediately following at Linton City Park Shelter House.
