Carol June (Ferguson) Roach

Carol June (Ferguson) Roach passed away on December 21, 2021. Born August 3, 1936 in Elvins Missouri, she was the daughter of Rev. Sanford A. and Glenda (Groves) Ferguson.

The family lived in Missouri until 1947 when they moved to Indiana and settled in Bloomfield. Carol was a 1955 graduate of Bloomfield High School and married Nelson E Roach on April 1st, 1956. Carol was employed at the RCA plant in Bloomington where she worked for 10 years and at Crane Naval Base as an Engineering Technician for 26 years, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed her retirement years and loved being with her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her three children, Dennis (Conroe Texas), Denise Mathes (Mike) and Dana (Bloomfield). Carol has five grandchildren; Keith Bennett, Travis Roach (Carman), Kylie Wood (Evan) all from Bloomfield and Michael Roach (Austin Texas) and Dena Roach (Conroe Texas) and four great grandchildren; Jade Roach (Conroe, Texas), Ronan Roach, Jensen Roach, and Evelyn Wood (Bloomfield). She is also survived by a sister, Brenda Sue Gentry (Mitchell).

Carol is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters Helen Greene, Betty Tally, Barbara Malloy.

Friends may call from 1 P.M. on Sunday December 26, 2021 until the hour of service at the Walnut Grove Church of God in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Walnut Grove Church of God with Rev. Jim Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
