James Hauser
/James Hauser, 68, of Linton, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at his residence. James was born in Linton, Indiana on February 9, 1950 to Dutch and Rhoda Hauser.
He graduated from Switz City Central High School. James served his country in the Army National Guard. He was a lifelong farmer and loved the outdoors. James was blessed with craftmanship as he was known for creating doll houses, miniature barns, and even built a wooden windmill for his wife. James was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
James is survived by his wife of 49 and a half years, Donna (Pickett) Hauser, siblings, Marilyn Flanders, Mary Jo (Mick) Jackson, sister-in-law, Sug King, brother-in-laws, Lanny (Lois) Pickett, Dan Pickett, special children, Kristie Hauck, Shellie Hauck, Darin Weddle, Chad Moss, Jason Hauck, best buddy, Mike Anderson, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton. Burial will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, July 27, 2018 and again 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
