Jacqueline Sue Gilstrap

Jacqueline Sue Gilstrap, 72, of Dugger, IN passed away at her residence Wednesday, April 1, 2026. She was born in Coshecton, Ohio the daughter of George A. Dilley and Dorothy F. Angle Dilley.

Jackie graduated from Worthington Jefferson High School in 1971 and married her husband, David Gilstrap on September 25, 1971.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Anthony, George M. and Jerry Dilley, also a nephew, Richy Bowles.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, David T. Gilstrap, a son, David R. Gilstrap (Brandy) of Dugger, IN, daughter, Dena Gilstrap (Shawn Stanley) of Sullivan, IN, two brothers, Billy Dilley (Maria) of Glendale, CA., Mark Thompson (Nancy) of Bloomington, IN, a sister, Julie Fisher (Charles) of Dugger, IN. 9 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Newkirk’s Funeral Home was honored to assist with the arrangements.
