Freda J. Thomas, age 94, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 12:55 am on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Glenburn Home. She was born in Dehue, West Virginia on April 21, 1926, the daughter of Bernie L. Brumfield & Sina F. (Lemaster) Brumfield.
She was a homemaker for most of her life but she did work as a clerk for the Linton Municipal Utilities for eight years. She loved to work on cross stitch projects.
Freda is survived by her son, Roger (Yong) Thomas of Bloomington, IN; grandchildren, Ian Thomas, Shawna Thomas and Lisa Thomas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Thomas and brothers, Bernie Brumfield, Jr. and Wayne E. Brumfield and sister, Jewell L. Adkins.
Private services will be observed by the family at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
