Edna Marie Overman

Edna Marie Overman, 88, of Odon, formerly of Springville, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born August 11, 1934 in Odon, she was the daughter of Alva Marion and Clara (Empson) Reynolds.

Edna was a cook at the Bloomfield School cafeteria and also worked at the Bloomfield Locker Plant. She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of God and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Springville.

Surviving relatives include: one son, Keith Wayne Overman (Janet) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one stepson, Paul Stephenson of Bedford; her grandsons, Brent Wayne Overman (Julie) of Bloomfield, Craig Patrick Overman (Sarah Ruggles) of Bloomington and William Jason Campbell (Mandy) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her step grandchildren, Kevin and Brandi; her great grandchildren, William Hawkins, Millie Carpenter, Hixon Campbell, William Campbell and Charlie Campbell; and a former daughter-in-law, Karen Overman.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carleton “Pat” Overman on December 14, 2004, her second husband, Pete Stephenson in 2021 and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Erin Raper officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
