Cora Waggoner, age 81, of Linton, went home to be with the Lord at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 13, 2020, at IU Health & Hospice House in Bloomington. She was born in Linton, IN on September 9, 1938, the daughter of Edwin Tendick & Anna May (Gabbard) Tendick.

She was a 1956 graduate of Linton Stockton High School. She worked at RCA and Crane but her favorite job was raising her family who she loved spending time with for holiday celebrations. She was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Jasonville.

Cora is survived by her sons, Ronald Edwin (Kay) Waggoner of Bloomington and Renos Alan (Helen) Waggoner of Jasonville; grandchildren, Benjamin Joseph Waggoner, Hannah Maria Waggoner, Coryn Hope Waggoner and Kaleb Robert Waggoner.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Renos A. Waggoner; parents, Edwin and Anna and siblings, Bob Tendick and Edwin Tendick, Jr.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Saturday, July 18, 2020, with Pastor Jerry Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 4-8 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to IU Health & Hospice House through the funeral home.
