Carolyn Kay Combs, 77, of Newburgh, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. Born March 7, 1944 in Martin County, she was the daughter of John and Vina (Hayes) Foglesong.

She retired as a computer equipment tester at Preferred Technical Group in Mitchell, Indiana.

Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Carla Chipman of Newburgh, two sons, Scott Chipman (Deborah) of Orleans and Tom Chipman of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Joan Rooksberry of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Amber Pritchard of Orleans, Adam Livingston of Salem and Clay Chipman of Pontiac, Illinois; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Pastor Adam Livingston officiating. Interment will follow in Owensburg cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
