Bruce A. Heacox, age 67, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 7:50 pm on Friday, November 6, 2020, at Breckenridge Health & Rehabilitation in Sullivan. He was born in Linton on September 14, 1953, the son of Robert J. & Evelyn (Steele) Heacox.

Bruce was a member of #841 Union of Terre Haute. He worked for Rogers Group and Milestone. He enjoyed taking drives in the evening, looking at deer and nature. He loved his Rottweiler dog.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Heacox of Worthington, son, Brad A. (Erica) Heacox of Athens, TX, sister, Wilhelmina (Lyle) Sloan of Worthington, two brothers, Bob (Sharron) Heacox of Linton and Arthur Heacox of Worthington, two grandsons, Robert & Hunter, two former spouses, Clayetta & Tammy, and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, with Matt Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Worthington Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army through the funeral home.
