Bonnie Lee Borders Terhune
/Bonnie Lee Borders Terhune, 91, of Switz City, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon. She was born in Bloomfield on Feb. 3, 1932, to Phillip and Bonnie (Terrell) Borders.
Bonnie was a hairstylist for many years, before and after raising her family. She enjoyed crocheting and crafting, singing in the choir, and spending time with her family and pets. She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her three loving children, Risa Dyar of Worthington, Robin Cooper (John) of Linton and Maurice Baty Terhune J.R. (Lorena) of Switz City; five grandchildren, Ryan Snell (Jess) of Castle Rock, Colo., Lacey Cooper (Cain) of Linton, Matthew Dyar (Brittany) of Nashville, Tenn., Sam Dyar (Mercedes) of Linton and Alexis Terhune of Ellettsville; five great-grandchildren: Aven Ryanne Cooper, Kit Lindsey and Bex Merry Snell, Max Thomas and Frannie Lee Dyar, and Baby Boy Dyar (due June 15, 2023), three step-grandchildren, Clay and Jacob Smith of Vincennes and Trevor Smith of Jasonville; and several nieces and nephews plus one special niece, Susie Sears Taylor.
In addition to her parents Bonnie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lindsey Renee Snellenberger; her sister, Lucille Sears Long, and her brothers, Jim and Bob Borders.
Funeral service will be held at Lester Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield at noon on Friday, March 31, 2023, with Pastor Jim Roach officiating. Bonnie will be laid to rest in Switz City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
