Beth Ann (McQueary) Hardesty

Beth Ann Hardesty, 60, of Jasonville, IN went home to be with the Lord at 4:03 P.M. Monday, January 25, 2021 in Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born October 5, 1960 in Connersville, IN to Garrett E. McQueary and Emmadell (Stough) McQueary.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jim Hardesty of Jasonville, IN whom she married on August 16, 1980; children, Brad Hardesty (Sarah) of Lewis, IN, Kristen Patterson (Dwain) of Jasonville, IN; parents, Garrett and Emmadell McQueary of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Natalie Hardesty, Macie Hardesty, Parker Patterson, Hattie Patterson; siblings, Karen Pierce (John) of Jasonville, IN, Gary McQueary of Jasonville, IN; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Beth graduated Shakamak High School Class of 1979 and also graduated from IvyTech as a certified medical assistant. She continued her education and finished as a Certified Opthalmic Technician. She was employed at AP&S/UAP Eye Center for 31 years. Beth’s passion was managing the Food Pantry at Lebanon Baptist Church. She was a member of TriKappa. She enjoyed mushroom hunting and going to the beach. Most of all Beth loved spending time with her grandkids and family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 P.M. Friday and 9 A.M. until service time Saturday at Lebanon Baptist Church, 6862 S. IN-59, Midland, IN. Funeral Services are 11 A.M. Saturday, January 30, 2021 with Pastor Mike Rotman and Pastor Bob Sampson officiating. In keeping with Beth’s wishes cremation will be scheduled. The family is requesting that all who attend wear masks.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Beth to Lebanon Baptist Church Food Pantry, P.O. Box 114, Jasonville, IN 47438. Envelopes will be available at the church.
