New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026:

Feb. 4, 9:41 a.m., Anthony Lee Hayne, 37, Greencastle, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and escape. No bond was allowed. 

Feb. 5, 2:39 a.m., Dana Carol McArtor, 48, Bloomfield, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. No bond was allowed. 

Feb. 5, 4:53 a.m., Chase Daniel Wright, 26, Bloomington, was arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery and disorderly conduct. No bond was allowed.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
