New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, March 12, 2024:

March 11, 6:51 PM, Cody Alan Perkins, 33, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery in the presence of a child less than 16 years. No bond was allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Special Deputy Ted Holley was the arresting officer. 

March 11, 10:02 PM, Emily Grace Goodman, 26, Bloomfield, was arrested on a warrant for domestic battery. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with 10% cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Michael Stanley was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
