New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, August 27, 2020:

August 26, 2:20 p.m. – Kenneth Pettus Jr., 28, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony theft where value of property is at least $750 and less than $50,000 and theft with a prior conviction. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy James Carpenter was the arresting officer.

August 26, 3:21 p.m. – John Luke Petrassi, 22, Cedar Lake, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence for a conviction of misdemeanor intimidation. He was being held without bond.
