New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, October 19, 2020:

October 16, 1:14 p.m. – Steven Troy Kaho, 43, Brazil, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor use of private land without consent. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $500 and was released later the same day.

October 16, 8:41 p.m. – Stephen Joseph Michael, 44, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of 11 felony counts involving rape, sexual misconduct with a minor, incest and child molesting. His bond was set at $185,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Worthington Deputy Marshal Ryan Montgomery was the arresting officer.

October 17, 1:08 a.m. – Scott Martin Nelson, 31, Ellettsville, Ind., was arrested on new preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia, and on a warrant issued out of Monroe County for failure to appear in a misdemeanor case. He was being held without bond pending court appearance in the Greene County case and held without bond in the Monroe County case. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. Bobby Pierce was the arresting officer.

October 18, 7:24 p.m. – Michael Lee Alton, 51, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a new preliminary charge of misdemeanor domestic battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He posted $100 and was released on October 19. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Alan Jackson was the arresting officer.
