New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • February 26 – Jacob Preston Baysinger, 20, Vincennes, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence in a case involving operating a vehicle with endangerment. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Det. James O’Malley was the arresting officer.
  • February 26 – Dustin Jay Butler, 36, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on an alleged violation of home detention in a case involving felony operating while intoxicated. He was being held without bond. Greene County Jail Officer Darren McDonald was the arresting officer.
  • February 26 – Justine Elizabeth Gardner, 28, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony robbery and attempt to commit a crime and misdemeanor criminal trespassing and battery. Her bond was set at $32,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Linton Police Officer Debbie McDonald-Miller was the arresting officer.
  • February 26 – Kimberly Kaye Hineman, 52, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating while intoxicated. Her bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.
  • February 26 – Michelle Lynn Snyder, 33, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a Writ of Attachment. Her bond was set at $500 cash only. She was released later the same day after posting bond. Bloomfield Town Marshal Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.
  • February 26 – Cassidy Breanna Terrell, 21, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent allowed. She was released on February 27 after posting bond. Jasonville Police Sgt. Brian Pilant was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
