New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • January 19 – Lukas Edward Kelley, 24, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. He was being held without bond.
  • January 19 – Kyla Diane Sharp, 39, Owensburg, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor public intoxication. She was being held without bond.
  • January 19 – Dustin Eugene Watts, 37, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor battery. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Jasonville Police Patrolman Dustin Cain was the arresting officer.
  • January 20 – Keith Alan Sears, 33, Terre Haute, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. He was being held without bond.
  • January 20 – Russell Lowell Goodman Jr., 34, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a Writ of Attachment issued in the amount of $500. His bond for the Writ was set at $500 cash only. Goodman was also booked into jail on new preliminary charges of misdemeanor resisting law enforcement and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. On these two counts he was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.
  • January 21 – Kenneth Kieffer Fielder, 23, Worthington, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor driving while suspended. His bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He was released on January 21 after posting bond. Worthington Deputy Marshal James Harrington was the arresting officer.
  • January 21 – Aaron C. Thomas, 40, Lyons, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony neglect of a dependent and misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated involving endangerment. His bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed.
  • January 21 – Maclyn John Booher, 25, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana or hashish. He was being held without bond. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Jordan Allor was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
