New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • January 12 – Austin Michael Fulford, 21, Clinton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Vigo County on a preliminary charge of felony auto theft. He was being held without bond, then released from Greene County on January 13. Jasonville Police Patrolman Dustin Cain was the arresting officer.
  • January 13 – Bradley A. Brown, 49, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana or hashish and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond. Indiana State Police Trooper Caleb Garvin was the arresting officer.
  • January 13 – Travis Scott Hale, 37, Linton, Ind., was arrested on warrants issued in two cases on preliminary charges of three misdemeanor counts including possession of marijuana or hashish in one case and theft and criminal conversion in the other case. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Sgt. Logan Hobbs was the arresting officer.
  • January 14 – Lawrence Keith Abram, 39, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating while intoxicated. His bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed.
  • January 14 – Ricci L. Dicus, 35, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor operating while intoxicated. Bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed, released on January 14 after posting bond. Linton Police Sgt. Logan Hobbs was the arresting officer.
  • January 14 – Vicky Lynn Freeman, 54, Linton, Ind., was arrested on warrants issued in two cases, one on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor unlawful use of 911 service and the other on preliminary charges of felony intimidation and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Harvey Holt was the arresting officer.
  • January 14 – Larry Joe Scank, 40, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a preliminary charge of felony theft. Bond was set at $4,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. He was released on January 14 after posting bond. Jasonville Police Sgt. Brian Pilant was the arresting officer.
  • January 14 – Leslie Edgar Corbin, Jr., 26, Solsberry, Ind., was arrested on a Writ of Attachment issued in the amount of $1,200. His bond was set at $1,200 cash only. Greene County Sheriff’s Jail Officer Steve Dobson was the arresting officer. 
  • January 14 – Jerry L. Raines, 63, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of felony dealing in marijuana or hashish, felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was being held without bond. Jasonville Police Sgt. Brian Pilant was the arresting officer.
  • January 15 – Michael William Bryant Wood, 33, Indianapolis, Ind., was arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of a handgun without a license. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Zach Goad was the arresting officer.
  • January 15 – Wanda Jean Hineman, 59, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of felony operating while intoxicated. Her bond was set at $8,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Linton Police Sgt. Logan Hobbs was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
