Joseph Martin Wright, 38, of Linton, was arrested on numerous charges by Officer John Agan of the Linton Police Department early Sunday, July 28.
Officer Agan was dispatched to the Buckshot Saloon on East Vincennes Street in Linton close to 1 a.m. that Sunday. When he arrived, Wright was sitting on the sidewalk near the street after having been removed from the establishment.
Agan reported that when he talked to Wright, he detected a strong odor of alcohol, Wright showed signs of intoxication plus Wright said he’d been drinking all day.
