McKenzie A. Burnette, age 29, of Newberry, passed away at 11:15 AM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. She was born in Bloomington on October 3, 1995, the daughter of Jerry L. and Amanda L. (Neidigh) Burnette.

McKenzie enjoyed music, lights, colors, and everything in life. She had a beautiful smile that never left her face, always sharing it with everyone around her. "Some angels have wings, some have wheels."

She is survived by her parents, Jerry & Amanda Burnette of Newberry; a brother, Matthew Burnette; maternal grandmother, Debra Walton; maternal grandmother, Wilma Walton and paternal grandfather, Doyle Burnette.

She was preceded by her sister, Cheyanne; maternal grandfather, Freddie Joe Neidigh, Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Sue Burnette.

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton from 3:00 - 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
