Help out the community one can at a time

The Linton Community Food Pantry is inviting Freedom Festival parade attendees to help stock its shelves by donating non-perishable food items and monetary contributions during the July 4 parade.

Hundreds of people rely on the Linton Community Food Pantry each month for assistance, especially during the summer months.

As part of this year's parade, the food pantry will feature a decorated float. Parade-goers are encouraged to help fill the shelves of the pantry as the float travels along the parade route.

Both non-perishable food donations and monetary contributions will be accepted. Donations are tax-deductible.

Community members who are unable to attend the parade but would still like to support the Linton Community Food Pantry are encouraged to contact the organization to learn how they can make a donation.
