A message from Jasonville Mayor Eric Siepman

The Jasonville Utility Office would like to share the following message from Mayor Eric Siepman regarding the water plant update:

"At the water plant, we are in the final stages of moving to our new water filtration system. Two weeks ago, the contractor inadvertently wired the booster pumps incorrectly, causing the system to generate excessive agitation.

We thought we covered everything last week, but obviously, we didn't. We are currently flushing lines and will continue for the next couple days to ensure this sediment is removed.

We are in constant contact with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). IDEM is aware of our situation and sees that we are handling this correctly.

We are getting closer to completing daily. Thanks in advance for your patience."
