William Robert Brummett

William Robert Brummett (AKA: Billy Bob, Mule Skinner) 62, of Bloomfield passed away Sunday May 23, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. William was born on July 7, 1958 the son of Frank and LaVer Brummett.

He was a truck driver for Young Trucking for twenty years, a member of the Solsberry Masonic Lodge for forty years, taking his entered apprentice on July 13, 1981 and his master mason degree on April 3, 1982. Bill was a retired volunteer fireman for Center Township fire department for many years.

Bill loved his wife, grandchildren, family and friends. He enjoyed eating breakfast with his buddies, playing cards, riding motorcycles with his wife and friends, Bill never met a stranger and was loved by so many.

Bill was preceded in death by a step-son Cory Boswell, his parents, sister’s Linda Kidd, Amy Brummett, brother Roger Brummett, brother-in-law’s, Donald McCloud and Melvin Kidd.

Bill is survived by his wife Jessica Brummett, step-son, Justin (Danyon) Talbott, his grandchildren, Carly Boswell, Caden Boswell, Julius Talbott, Henry Talbott, sister-in-law Rebecca Fields, godson Jason Brooks, Sister Diana McCloud, niece’s Kayla Fields, Debbie (Fred) Wright, Tonya (Roy) Jones, nephews, Dwane McCloud, Danny (Sherry) McCloud and many great nieces and great nephews and many cousins.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday and from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. A Masonic service will be held at 7 P.M. on Friday evening.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Jenkins funeral Home with Pastor Pat Arthur officiating. Burial will follow at Owensburg Cemetery.
