Sandra G. "Sandy" Fiscus
/Sandra G. “Sandy” Fiscus, 81, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:05 P.M. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in Autumn Trace Assisted Living in Linton, IN. She was born December 4, 1938 in Jasonville, IN to Robert Leon Goad and Ruth Marie (Thomas) Harrison.
Sandy married William “Bill” Fiscus on June 8, 1954 and he passed away on December 16, 2019.
Survivors include her children, Randy Fiscus of Linton, IN, Carla Gambill (Vic) of Linton, IN; daughter in-law, Joyce Fiscus of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Dawn Fiscus (Jeremy), Sheri Fiscus, Bill Fiscus III (Tona), Tyler Fiscus, Tiffany Elkins (Jeff), Jacob Gambill, Karie Watters (Mastin); great-grandchildren, Myranda, Aydan, Austin, Olivia, Addison, Leighton, Savannah, Bryson, Hali, Parker, Briar, Reece, Karly, Aaliyah, Grace; siblings, Carol True (Jimmy) of Pennsylvania, Bobby Goad (Pat) of Florida; sister in-laws, Arzella Ahnert of Jasonville, IN, Caroline Mayhew of Jasonville, IN, Hazel Fiscus of Jasonville, IN; several nieces and nephews. The family wants to give special thanks to Jessica Miller and the entire staff of Autumn Trace Assisted Living and to Ciarra Grigsby RN and Nichole Bigler CNA of Intrepid Hospice for the amazing care they gave Sandy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Bill Fiscus Jr.; brothers, Carl Goad, Johnny Goad, Tommy Goad; daughter in-law, Debra Fiscus.
Sandy retired from Pace Community Action Agency. She was a member of Anchored in Faith Ministries and a former member of the Jasonville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Monday at Anchored In Faith Ministries located on Hwy 59 South across form the Ellis Water Tower. Funeral Services are 2 P.M. Monday, October 5, 2020 with Pastor Larry Watters Jr. officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Sandy to Anchored In Faith Ministries. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
