Ruby Maxine Harper

Ruby Maxine Harper 82, of Springville, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born March 21, 1938 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Vernon and Fern (Holmes) Bailey.

She retired from RCA. After retirement she worked at Bloomington Hospital part time. She was a member of the IBEW 1424 while at RCA and attended the Free Pentecostal Holiness Church in Little Cincinnati.

Surviving relatives include: two daughters, Nancy Rollins (Curtis) of Bloomington and Pam Carr (Bud) of Owensburg; one son, Bill Harper (Tammy) of Owensburg; two sisters, Treva Corlette of Bloomfield and Phyllis Harper of Springville; seven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Harper on December 22, 2009, one infant son, Ricky Dwight Harper, one son, Michael lee Harper, one brother, Wayne Bailey, one sister, Joan Bailey, two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Flynn cemetery in rural Springville, with Rev. Keith Thompson officiating.

The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to IU Health Hospice House.
