Rodney A. Cox
/Rodney A. Cox of Dunedin FL, born in Greenfield, IN August 6, 1961, passed peacefully at home on May 6, 2025.
Rodney held memberships in good standing with the American Legion Post 275 (Post Commander, two years), Freemasonry and Shriner organizations. During a lifelong career in golf course grounds maintenance, he introduced his four sons to the trade and instilled excellent work habits that bring pride of a job well-done. His occasional inappropriate remarks and humorous storytelling that came so easily to him will certainly keep his memory alive with love and laughter for all his many family and friends.
Rodney is preceded in death by siblings, Owen Cox (Sharon), Glenn Cox (Cheryl), Tina Collins (Bill).
He is survived by his wife, Luanne; sons, Sean Cox (Stacy), Brian Cox (Danielle), Patrick Cox (Brittney) and Daniel Cox (Katie); stepdaughters, Stephanie Dean (Dave), Sarah Anderson (Scott) and Hilary Arvin (Darrick); siblings, Sharren Anderson (Don), Bell Hancock (Dennis), Larry Cox (Anna), Teresa Carpenter (Danny) and Judy Sullivan; grandchildren, Taylar and Sean Jr., and many stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Masonic Rights will be 1 pm, June 6, 2025 at the Masonic Lodge, 1297 Mchigan Blvd. Dunedin, FL.
